Skandi Steel Oy was founded in 1990 and is a professional in machine shop and metal work. High quality and reliable delivery times are the key factors of our family business.
We master various machining tasks as well as the diverse special requirements of process industries. Our milling machines and boring mills can machine parts weighing from 50 kilograms up to 50 000 kilograms.
Special machining is designed and developed together with the customer so that our quality driven expertise in machining benefits the customer as well. Our operations are guided by the aim for genuine partnership with our customers.
Skandi Steel has a certified ISO 9001:2015 management system. Our operations also follow the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Welding, plate structure and machining work are carried out as complete solutions in cooperation with Nakkilan Metalli Oy.
Facilities
The production facilities are designed for manufacturing large parts. The steel framed industrial halls have a lifting capacity of 50 tons. The floor area is 2680 m² and the volume is 24 900 m³.
The steel framed storage hall has a lifting capacity of 5 tons, a floor area of 680 m² and a volume of 3380 m³. There are 280 m² of space for washing facilities, hazardous waste and chip storage.
