Deep drilling enables long and straight holes in metal parts efficiently. The method ensures a precise result and is especially suitable for demanding industrial applications where quality and reliability are essential.
Deep hole drilling is part of Skandi Steel’s strong special expertise. The company’s machinery includes equipment modernized in 2012 with programmable BTA and gun drills.
With a BTA drill holes with a diameter of 20 to 60 mm can be drilled. The hole length can be up to 3000 mm from one direction.
With a gun drill holes with a diameter of 38 mm or smaller can be drilled. Depending on the tool diameter the hole length can be up to 1940 mm from one direction.
